Why we love this Wine

Grenache Nouveau (here, blended with a little Mourvedre) is a little lighter, a little easier than its boldly traditional cousin. We do love the deep garnet, high alcohol stuff that you can stand a spoon in, but it's hard to go past this super-approachable style, reminiscent of what you'd find in Southern Rhône. Blewitt Springs is a Grenache mecca: sandy soils and dry-grown, old bush vines impart incredible depth of flavour and concentration. In this pure juice expression, it's bright and bouncy, with less oak and less extraction. Strawberry and spice and all things nice.
