Why we love this Wine
From Portugal’s Vinho Verde comes a whole bunchy white complicated to perfection by four months on lees. ‘Bico Amarelo’, or, ‘Yellow Beak’, is an ode to the blackbirds of the vineyards that winemaker José Luis Moreira da Silva uses for this light and fresh Alvarinho. Long and fine, think citrus, a little stone fruit and blossom - one for the Riesling lovers.
