Que bella Babino! Definitely a Grigio (not a Gris), Babino bring characteristic Venetian flair to the grape, packing citrussy scent and orchard fruits into this all-alluring bottle. Fresh peaches, pears. Light of body, heavy on refreshment. Grown in 'delle Venezie', aka Pinot Grigio's spiritual home, however this wine sees the tender touch of Australia's own Justin Bubb. With ten years in Italy under his belt (and a few floating around his wife's Tassie family winery, Pooley) Justin knows a thing or two about what the (above) average Aussie looks for in a deeply satiating Italian white. Aroma and energy, crisp acid, fresh on fresh. Wine for any (and every) day of the week.
