Here Paul Perarnau and Willy Roulendes turn their finely-tuned skills to the old vines of Saint-Romain - 3 ha of Chardonnay on the limestone rich clays of this wonderful and undervalued Burgundian climate. A picture of detail and clarity with beautifully poised citrus and stone fruits, soft spice, marzipan, struck stone and white flowers all cut with tight, mineralily and mouth-watering sapidity of limestone soils. Hell yeah.
