Amalaya means 'a hope for a miracle', ie. the faith held by farmers of Salta, Argentina that they'll be rewarded with a peachy harvest each year. A blend of big-in-Argentina grape Torrontes, with ever-aromatic Riesling, this heady white wine blooms with lemon blossom, jasmine and tomato leaf perfume. Slick wet stone minerality, grapefruit pith and orange zest on the palate. If you nerd out on food pairings, have some fun with this. Ceviche, soft cheese, grilled seafood, the spicy stuff— 'nuff said.
