Why we love this Wine
Perfumed, succulent and concentrated, this Albino Rocca offers everything we ask from a Nebbiolo. Coming out of a pocket of Italy where truffle woods blanket the hills and locals spoon buttery sage over pinched parcels of pasta, this wine is bright, fresh and delicate. Dark fruits and blood orange slip around subtle spice and a steely minerality. A blend of 97% Neb and a splash of Cabernet Franc, fermented in-tank and sent to bottle early for an energetic wine. The Rocca daughters continue to produce these terroir-intense wines that their father Angelo was a master at producing. Nebbiolo in all its Piemontese glory.
