Why we love this Wine
From Suvereto, in the province of Livorno on the Tuscan coast, comes this slippery and moreish skin contact wine from the indigenous Ansonica grape, which incidentally would be a pretty rad band name. Two days skin contact and aged on lees in Acacia barrels for 8 eight months. Deeply coloured, savoury, dry and a super textural riot of citrus fruits, white peach, Tuscan herbs, white flowers and dried citrus rind…. It’s a beauty.
