Why we love this Wine
We dig the lighter-bodied, savoury framed wines from France’s Côtes du Roussillon wine region. Domaine Laguerre biodynamic vineyards are located in Saint-Martin-Fenouillet at 500m on the complex gneiss and broken-down granite soils. A blend of 80% Grenache from 40-year-old vines with the balance Carignan and Syrah, it’s a wild-eyed ride of vibrant strawberry, wild cherry fruits dotted with spice and mineral, earthy undertones. Terrific stuff.
