There is something instantly comforting about the wines of Chianti Classico; here a blend of Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo and Colorino from the highly regarded Tuscan producer, Castello di Monsanto. Fragrant and elegant with aromas and flavours of redcurrant, cherry and summer berry fruits highlighted by notes of violets, tobacco, espresso and baking spice. Medium-bodied with polished ripe fruit yet savoury, true and classic in style.
