Marine scientist turned winemaker, it’s little wonder Gentle Folk wines showcase a healthy obsession with the science (and wonder) of terroir. Gareth and Rainbo Belton have spent the last 11 years in Adelaide’s Basket Range producing authentic, humble, natural wines that do their talking in the glass.
“I’ve been making Gamay for a number of years now, and this 2023 vintage has that lively juiciness we chase from the variety. We were super happy to release it as a straight varietal. It has all you want from a table wine, so fire up your pizza oven and get going people!”
