Blended according to a recipe devised in 1888, and infused with more than thirty different botanicals, many of them grown in the Alps near the winery. The base wines come from the nearby Langhe, homeland of regional royalty—Barolo and Barbaresco. Almost sounds too good to be true. It’s not. Sip it neat, splash it on the rocks, or serve with soda. Powerful stuff.
