Portuguese varieties cultivated in the Yarra Valley, some truly outstanding quality fruit. 46% Touriga Nacional, 23% Tinta Cao, 15% Tinta Roriz, 7% Alvarelhao, 4% Sousao. Does that not sound like a party worth attending? Energetic and raucously aromatic. Floral and deep, with a bouquet of lavender, satsuma plums and balsamic. There's licorice and something herbal, spice and blue fruits. A very nice red for drinking and admiring and swirling in the glass. Grilled mushroom, steak dinner stuff.
