Why we love this Wine
Mature, low-yielding vines = premium fruit with concentrated flavour, grown on a single site close to the Tamar River. Two clones, MV6 and D5V12, the latter picked early for red fruit pop and perfume, while the MV6 spends a little longer developing depth. Spending 11mo in French oak, this is beautifully rich with lively cherries, strawberries and herbs. Ricky Evans (of Two Tonne fame) knows how to compose a magnificent Pinot Noir, bringing in just the right notes of savoury spice that satisfy so completely.
