Why we love this Wine
Chardonnay well worth a rub of the old lamp. Planted in 2020, Three Wishes Vineyard sits just north of Hillwood on the eastern bank of the Tamar River. Relatively warm and protected, this is a prime cool-climate site for Chardonnay. Picked in two stages, the early fruit offers up nervy tension, while texture and richness develops with a little more time on the vine for the rest. Ricky Evans has it dialled in—grapefruit, white peach, oyster shell, golden apple and baking spice. Pure and precise, dream drinking.
