Why we love this Wine
Lagrein is traditionally grown in the far north of Italy, where cooler climates offer a very different expression to that which we get in South Australia. Wangolina have leant in to the dark difference, crafting something deep, dark and chocolatey. It reminds us more of an inky Shiraz, with juicy blue fruits and a little menthol, almost an amaro note. Wangolina are ones to watch on the Aussie (nay, global) wine scene.
