Why we love this Wine
100% pinot noir Champagne from Kimmeridgian-limestone soils, 2017 fruit with 5% topped up. Super-low yields from 30-year-old vines, made entirely without added yeast or acid adjustments. 10 months in barrel, then 15-20 months on lees in bottle. Blue fruits, cherry and grenadine. They call it ‘dangerous wine’. Can concur. Dangerously seductive.
