Why we love this Wine

We do like a bit of Grillo, the wee Sicilian white grape that is responsible for more than its fair share of crisp and savoury wines that float our boat.  A cross of Catarratto and Moscato di Alessandria (Zibibbo) it was once solely used in the production of Marsala but today it stands proud as a table wine. The Vanita is a ripper - stoney and savoury with a blast of lemony citrus fruits, a touch of blood orange and peach juice all wrapped up in vivid, minerally acidity that is cleansing and pure.
