Why we love this Wine
Brendan and Laura Carter at Unico Zelo have become dab-hands at this Fiano thing. There are a number of Fiano’s in their vinous quiver; all from different terroirs and all show distinctly different palate shapes and degrees of velocity. Here it’s Fiano from the river sands of Waikerie in the Riverland. Lemony, nutty with touches of marzipan and soft spice, it’s textural and savoury and cuts a fine line across the palate.
