Why we love this Wine

Unico Zelo is the winemaking project of dynamic duo, Brendan and Laura Carter who create textural and site-expressive wines and the Mallee Gambit is no exception. With their Nero d’Avola grapes sourced from Polish Hill River in Clare Valley, the zones trademark herbaceous tones seeping through with trademark sour cherry notes. This wine is quintessentially Clare and Nero’s future in the Valley is looking very bright. Rugged and reliable.
