Why we love this Wine

Taut as a trampoline, this is whipcrack sharp Vermentino. Dry as dry, but blooming with a chirpy bouquet of citrus and sea spray. There's spice too. From Heathcote's cooler Southern edge, where bluestone, quartz and mudstone coexist across a ridge of sedimentary rock. Fermented and rested on full lees, racked immediately before bottling. The result: more texture than your average Vermentino, give it a stroke.
