Structure and tannin rule this startling, translucent Grenache. Sourced from black volcanic soils, heavenly aromas abound. Warm, softly smokey and spiced, followed by a lush fruity palate. Plums, pomegranates and ruby grapefruit. Timo Mayer's approach never fails to result in something exciting, this time an utterly drinkable, 'sleek-but-wild' light red of a savoury persuasion.
