Why we love this Wine
Pupo doesn't do subtle. Nicola Nardone trained in Bordeaux, took one look at the rulebook and binned it, now making wild, no-additions natural wine on volcanic soil in Venticano, Avellino. This is his Zero line β Greco left on skins for several days, bottled with nothing added, not even sulphites, so what you get is the grape and nothing else. Dried herb, honeyed stone fruit, a grip of tannin and a long savoury finish. Raw, a little feral in the best way, entirely honest.
