Why we love this Wine
Around Mt Etna in Sicily, Nerello Mascalese is the top dog, but here, growling and snapping at its heels in a lovely wine from Nerello Cappucio, predominately found in the Etna Rossa blends but more than capable of standing proudly alone in a wine. It’s all plum and dried cherry fruit notes with an ironstone twist, a touch of pepper and spice, some floral top-notes and a bright, minerally line.
