When it comes to Sometimes Spanish wines, this one is hard to beat. Produced within the remote, hilly DO of Valdeorra, this is single vineyard Mencia as the higher beings intended. Mid-weight in the most intricate of senses, earthy, grounding notes of balsamic and clean granite create a base for peppy red fruit, boysenberry and carefully distributed spice. An organic, biodynamic, high altitude dream.
