Why we love this Wine
The Foggy Hill vineyard is tucked away on a northwestfacing slope at Parawa, the highest point of the Fleurieu Peninsula half way between Victor Harbor and Cape Jervis. You’d presume it was a foggy hill but one thing we know for certain is it is a good place for Pinot Noir. A little bit (15%) whole-bunch opens the wine up here - plummy, cherriey (!?!), exotic spices, a dab of gaminess, fine, ripe tannin and a tight, lithe sway to its hips as it sashays across the palate.
