Zibibbo, baby. Tanca Nica’s 2022 Terra Forte is all about depth, structure, and serious aging potential—bold, tannic, and almost red wine-like in its grip. Sourced from a tiny, single vineyard in the Contrada Bonsulton, where vines planted back in 1931 endure in basalt-rich, clay-heavy soils, this is Zibibbo with muscle. 15 days on skins pull out layers of bergamot florals, mandarin, and peach skin bitters, while time in glass demijohns and stainless steel refines its power. With only 1,000 bottles made each year, this is not one to snooze on.
