Why we love this Wine
Two of SA's great wine regions unite in this blend of two Spanish varietals; Blewitt Springs Grenache and Barmera Mencia. The bread is complimentary, and so too our tasting notes— it's a bit of an enigma, with star anise and gravelly minerals, and some amaro-styled sweetness. 20% of each parcel was kept as whole bunches, leaving lovely complexity. Grenache's signature red fruits are a little more brooding, a little inkier, but no less delicious. 20% whole bunch spending time on French oak.
