Why we love this Wine
Peter Schell produces cracking wines from the Barossa Valley under his Spinifex label. ‘Schelly’ is known for being one of the most considered winemakers in the region with an encyclopaedic knowledge of local vineyards. Very Bandol-esque this wine; pale and textural with fruit characters of redcurrant and yellow plum with a light floral flush. Dry, savoury and dangerously moreish it is vivid and delicious drinking.
