Why we love this Wine

Pete Schell and Magali Gely have brought a little French influence to the Barossa Valley in their 20+ years making their home. Perfect custodians of organically grown Muscat from a 70-year-old site, which they've macerated a few days post-crush, and pressed to old oak for the ferment. Muscat is the hero grape in so many tropically sweet dessert wines, that's not what this is though. Here, fruitiness is curbed by some partial malo, and we're left with a subtle, balanced table wine with fresh acidity, roses and oranges on the nose, and honeyed heaven on the palate.
