Nebbiolo takes its name from the Italian word for fog, a nod to the mists that blanket Piedmont's vineyards during the late autumn harvest and the cloudy bloom that can coat the small round berries. Victoria's Pyrenees boasts warms Mediterranean days and cool evenings, a prime second home for the widely beloved traditional variety. The Shadowfax is decadent and concentrated, packing in cranberry acid and savoury, rich flavour. Briny olives, charry capsicum, truffle. Robust, with caramel depth and a bristling backbone of tannin.
