Why we love this Wine
Nero d'Avola and Nerello Cappuccio from Sicily into wonderland and gets a bit of a shake up. Cocconato, that dreamy little hillside village where the fruit originates, boasts an uber-toasty, uber favourable little micro climate. Things only continue in favourable fashion; 24 hours on skins, a soft press, pure free-run spends 20 days in stainless steel tanks, then a four month stainless elevage. The result is this supple softie of a rosato, with cherry notes and elegant floral spice.
