Some say Turbiana, some say Trebbiano di Lugana. Name aside, there's a strong consensus that it be bloody delish. Fragrant and fresh, subtly mineral. The flavour profile offers restrained fruit— a little citrus, a little green apple, everything crunching and just barely ripe. This is a taut, textural drop to stand alone at aperitivo hour (or alongside salty nibbles, nuts, banderilla, that kinda thing). A slightly grassy nose conjures spring time, but this is a knockout at any time of year.
