Samuel’s Gorge have really nailed down that fine category of gutsy, mid-weight reds ideally suited to the food Aussies love to eat. More vibrant than previous vintages with beautiful acidity and silty tannins, 2021 has the potential for eight plus years cellaring while doing plenty right now. Dark forest fruits, cherry and leather make for moody and moreish sipping.
