Why we love this interesting drink
From chef-turned-aperitif producer Dave Verheul, it makes sense that someone who knows how to balance flavours would make a vermouth this good. The idea was that Australian vermouth could be focused on fresher, seasonal ingredients. Moscato from Rutherglen in Central Victoria, organic pineapple quinces grown near Seymour north of Melbourne, along with saffron, blood orange, bay leaf, dried jasmine flower and rhubarb root. Order up.
