Why we love this Wine
A hot tamale from the Tamar Valley, this is Tassie Chardy with poise and acid in its arsenal. Gently whole bunch pressed, spending 9 months in barrel. Beautiful structure here, very confident Chardonnay with zest and fruit preserving a pleasant freshness despite all that wood. 20% new oak and unfined. A fairly 'typical' vintage for the Tamar Valley ('typical' conjuring all the positive connotations that Tasmanian Chardonnay should).
