Tim Knappstein's been making precise, no-fuss wine for well over sixty vintages now, three generations deep in the trade. The Dagger is his quick one: Lenswood-grown pinot, light and perfumed, built for quick work rather than lengthy deliberation. Dark cherry and red berry, a confected strawberry edge, a flash of spice to keep it interesting. Dangerously good.
