Why we love this Wine
This "Methode Simple" grenache does exactly what the name promises — fermented on 25% whole bunches, six months in seasoned oak, then bottled unfiltered and unfined, nothing added back in to fix it. REL work out of a small Kersbrook property in the Adelaide Hills, splitting their energy between this, a converted milk shed stay, and a fledgling hop yard — wine as one project among several, not a prestige chase. The 2024 is light-bodied but full-flavoured: ripe strawberry, savoury spice, a textured grip of tannin keeping it interesting. An easy glass that still has something to say.
