Here’s an indigenous Italian white ready to make its mark. made by a crew of Piemontinese mates and grown from a single Colli Tortonesi site, the varietal is akin to Riesling in acidity, yet a little higher in booze and weightier in texture. 12 hours on skins, time on lees and 18 months maturation makes for a striking white able to hold its own at any table.
