Why we love this Wine
An absolute winner. Chardonnay that displays all of the much-adored grape's best character. Charred lemons, mascarpone, french toast. A slightly floral, woodsy nose. Past the electric opening of the wine, dome deeper stuff: toasted nuts, ripe stonefruit. Regeneratively farmed with Biogro certification, this is made with handpicked, whole bunch fruit from Lowburn in Central Otago. Wild fermented in French oak, 28% of it new. 12mo on lees, sans sulfur. Unfined, unfiltered, unbelievably flavoursome.
