Why we love this Wine
Succulent, but with spiky tannins, this is a thriving cactus of a wine. Syrah, Petit Verdot and Nebbiolo from Luigi Oddero's vineyard in La Morra. Juicy, open-armed fruit comes by way of two co-ferments. The first, Syrah & Nebb with 20% whole bunch. The second, Petit Verdot & Nebb, all destemmed. Matured separately in seasoned barriques for 14 months before the final blend. It's a letter to home from Matt Large. Serious wine, for serious drinking. Sealed with a wax.
