Why we love this Wine

After late nights debating the virtues of Northern Euro orange wines between shifts in the Borachio winery, vintage hand and Późno producer Pete Wood put together this drop of time and patience, partly in barrel but mostly locked up in tank on skins for 11 months, meandering well into the savoury realm that these wines want to take you. A single-vineyard Adelaide Hills’ expression all about the herbal notes and Earl Grey Tea wrapped in delicate tannins. Surprising softness and well worth the wait. He reckons this coulda been something in our glass quicker. But that wouldn’t be this. Love the slow road.
