Why we love this Wine

Grignolino is simply delicious, though it suffers reputationally for being from Piedmont, a region where there's a lot of delicious getting around. If all of it was as fresh and berry-scented as this is, perhaps the varietal would be relished even more widely. A red-fruit trifecta of cranberries, raspberries and ruby red cherries jump out of the glass, balanced with spicier pepper and oregano. With a savoury finish, it feels like warm afternoon sun after a hearty meal. Satisfaction.
