Why we love this Wine
Pio Cesare have the epitome of Barolo down to a fine art. The 70 hectares under vine thrive with minimal intervention, with minimal yields a tactical choice. This is individual berry selection, folks, and it shows. 30 months in oak has 2018 giving off intense florals and a little orange peel on the nose, with layers of red fruit, silky tannin, earth and dark chocolate. Savoury, classic, oh-so cellar worthy.
