Why we love this Wine

Pierre Morey's emphasis on biodynamic viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking is a style that maximises the potential of a prestigious, Premier Cru site. This fruit focus is richly rewarded in Grands Epenots, a deep ruby red with garnet reflections and a rich, layered nose. The 2021 vintage is fresh and laser-focused, packed with warm baking spice, black cherries and ripened plums. Lively acid pricks the palate in mouth-watering fashion, and there's a core of dark fruit and minerality. Stunning now, though well worth aging another 10-15 years.
