Why we love this Wine
We are huge fans of the wines of the Loire valley and Claude and Joelle Papin-Chevalier from Chateau Pierre Bise have become a star of the famous French wine region. This wine, a Cabernet Franc from the schist-rich soils of the Anjou appellation is just lovely. It’s a composed, cool-tasting wine with a classic ‘leafy’ Franc entry that fills out with gorgeous dark, berry fruits and a tight structure. A brief chill and it’s the perfect warm weather red.
