Why we love this Wine
All about the Loire Valley terroir here, the special parcels of Les Rouannières are in a tiny micro climate between two streams trickling down to the Layon. Rocky soils with beautiful mineral components create wines like nowhere else. With a bit of age going on here, the aromatics are remarkable too. Cranberry, red and black fruits, mint and peppercorns, toast and coffee beans. Very special Biodynamic Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
