In 2023, Philippe Pacalet was named in Le Figaro's (big French newspaper) Top 50 Winemakers in France. Should you not know many French winemakers, let us tell you, there's more than 50 of them getting around. Formerly of Domaine Prieuré Roch, under his own name Philippe pursues low-intervention, terroir focused Burgundian wines. Purest Chardy from old vines, fermented wholebunch, aged in neutral oak. Clarity, charm, grace. This is a must-try Burg for the Burg-nerds.
