What in hell is Cannonau? Grenache made in Sardinia, a medium weight, bouncy red, precision-fashioned to suit balmy evenings and light lunches. Centosere = one hundred evenings, and all hundred of them would be looking pretty sweet with a glass of this plush, spicy elixir on hand. Think blueberry compote aromas, tangy plum, a little forest floor grunt. Silken, with tight, fine tannins and a decidedly addictive quality. Tank-fermented, juicy and one to drink now, or soon.
