Why we love this Wine
A French renegade in Rioja. Gabaxo is Olivier Rivière’s take on the region, and it's a fresh one, featuring mostly Tempranillo and Garnacha (+ a few friends). Organically farmed and handled with precision the blend is bright, lifted, and full of life: dark berries, raspberry zing, cocoa, and a leafy, tobacco finish. Chalky tannins round it out without weighing it down. Brick red, think Rioja with a Rhône-Burgundy accent. Bloody smart stuff.
