Unencumbered by oak ageing, the Noelia Ricci Sangiovese (Sange-ee-ohh-vaiz-ay) is a portrait of pure, savoury edged Italian loveliness from the famous wine region of Emilia Romagna. Pure and vibrant red plum and cherry fruits with a dusting of amaro herbs, spice, gentle fine tannin and a seam of saline mineral-laden acidity. For wine trivia geeks Sangiovese is one of the few grape varieties that rhymes with Patrick Swayze.
